Is there anything so outrageous and, frankly, embarrassing and hypocritical that Obama can say with a straight face that his adoring cheerleaders in the liberal media is capable of criticizing?
Mexican gun violence?
Uh, do the words "Fast and Furious" not immediately come to mind as the president again pushing the narrative that American guns in Mexico are a leading cause of gun violence.
We saw through this clumsy attempt by the Obama administration to nudge Americans into demanding gun control fro the start. You remember - the Obama administration sells guns to Mexican drug cartels hoping (IMHO) that they would be used in crimes and traced back to American dealers.
Unfortunately, an American border agent, Brian Terry, was murdered and reportedly over 200 innocent Mexicans leaving Obama and Eric Holder ducking and weaving ever since.
With the help of the liberal media, of course.
Incidentally, there are almsot 4 times the number of gun homicides in Mexico despite having about 1/6th the number of guns per capita as the U.S.
Oh, and all that drug trafficking is simply Mexican entrepreneurs" taking advantage of "America's" insatiable appetite for drugs?
You mean like the young Obama who regularly jokes about his "youthful" drug use, Hollywood, the music and entertainment industry, inner cities, college campuses, minorities ... hey, doesn't "America" kind of look a lot like the Democrat party and its constituencies?
But perhaps the most outrageous assertion is that America has imposed its will on other countries like Mexico, refusing to accept their right of "sovereignty", passing mean-spirited laws to prevent them from crossing our borders and obtaining the "rights" he and his Attorney General have deemed "civil rights".
Try ANY of that in Mexico - although if Obama were honest he'd probably admit he doesn't really believe America really has a right to exist as America - that we really stole it from the rest of the world and he intends to change all that.
That freedom of religion means Christians have a right to pray silently in Church and that speaking about faith in public, especially in the military, can land you in the clink. That people who are here illegally, even those shown to have extremist beliefs and ties, are excused - even subsidized by taxpayers, and when they kill Americans the first impulse is to look at America and ask where we have gone wrong.
You know - the fundamental transformation of America" where the Constitution is turned on its head when it is not simply shredded and where, more and more, non-citizens and those who hate this country are becoming a protected and privileged class.
