Owl is home
So, the owl is home again. Surgery went okay, they removed infection and fistula in four places. Two on my tailbone area, and two more "oh, while we're at it" on my left groin, apparently they saw those while operating and just took them out too. Which is good because hey, gone, but makes changing bandages a little complicated... :-)
I was allowed to go home on Monday, but I need to see a doc every few days. And change bandages twice a day. Ow. Sleeping is okay (hello Ibuprofen), standing is okay, walking slowly too. Sitting works on some chairs with big cushions for about ten minutes... but at least I don't have to eat while standing up. That's what I did in hospital. Yup, fun. *lol*
I'm written off for two weeks for now, but Doc already warned me that it can take up to six weeks. Depends on how good my healing factor is. *sigh* Ah well, we have to see from week to week.
But hey, I'm home, I have my own bed, all of my books and better internet access, that's a lot! :-)
