~interests In my free time I usually: Read, catch up on television, sleep. Sleeping is essential. On LJ I mostly post about: Real life makes a frequent appearance. I post about the books I read, the t.v. I watch, my job, my family. It's a smorgasbord. My favourite books: Kindred, The Women's Murder Club series, old school YA (Christopher Pike, anyone?) My favourite movies: I like the silly (Talledega Nights) and the not so silly (Seven) My favourite music: Showtunes. No joke. Also soundtracks to t.v. shows because I feel more like a geek when I can pin-point exactly what's happening in an episode when I listen to a score. Oh, and Lady Gaga. But mostly I stick to the first two things.

Other fandoms: Modern Family, Battlestar Galactica, Cougar Town, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, Criminal Minds, Disney, Community, Mad Men, The Walking Dead, Arrested Development. My favourite characters: Juliet Burke, Will Zimmerman, Henry Foss, The Big Guy, Helen Magnus, Bill Adama, Laura Roslin, Leslie Knope, Liz Lemon, Kenneth Parcell, and so many more. My OTPs: Juliet/James (LOST) Will/Helen (Sanctuary), Bill/Laura (BSG) Other ships: I don't really ship much else unless we're going to get old school and count the Pink Power Ranger and the Green Power Ranger.
