[happy birthday] + [2 memes] + [tv reviews]

Jan 09, 2011 12:23

+ First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY nicolemissing!! ^___^ Passa una bellissima giornata! <3

+ My homework marathon proceeds slowly. I should be putting effort into the preparation for this exam since it's the one I'm most likely to pass with no problems, I should focus so I get a good grade, you know? but it's just so underrated in my head that I don't feel like doing much. *hits her head* whatever. I'd better hurry up and go back to studying.

+ I watched TBBT and HIMYM last night. The Big Bang Theory wasn't so brilliant in my opinion. Scenes with Sheldon and Penny were usually great, but sometimes that's not enough, right? I liked HIMYM instead, it was a good episode, and I don't agree with those people who complained about the 'bad news' at the end of it. People said they watch HIMYM to laugh and they don't wanna hear about bad things. Guess what: HIMYM is realistic. And they have needs, like pushing the plot forward, just to say one. It can't always be good news. Guess what? That's life. Deal with it.

+ Now two memes: the Crossover one and another one really nice which I snagged from rumpelsnorcack.

This is a A - Z list of the websites you visit the most as shown in your URL bar. Type in each letter of the alphabet and report the first site that comes up.

Tell me if you take this, I'm curious!

A is for Anobii, the website I use to keep track of the book I read and want to read. It's an alternative to Goodreads. I use it because I discovered it first (and I'm not fond of transferring my database from that one to this one XD) and because it's more popular in Italy.
B is for BNC Corpus. It's a database of English texts I've been consulting for a translation project at school. I've visited it loads of times for this reason.
C is for crossoverfans, a recently discovered community on crossovers.
D is for the Miso page for Desperate Housewives. Miso is the site I use to keep track of my tv shows.
E is for my own livejournal. There are so many "e"s in its title XD
F is for Facebook, of course (no need to link that for ya, right?)
G is for Google.
H is for a Youtube to mp3 converter (can't figure out why it came out, there's probably a few Hs in the URL).
I is for Itasa, an Italian website for subtitles.
J is for Livejournal.
K is for Konjugator, a website with lists of verbs in all tenses for various languages - useful when you study foreign languages *ghgh*
L is for Livejournal again.
M is for Miso's homepage.
N is for the Youtube to mp3 converter again.
O is for Orangotag.com, an alternative to Miso which I've used for a long time until it went all Portuguese -.-
P is for my University website, there's a lot of Ps in the title ("scuola suPeriore Per InterPreti e Traduttori").
Q is for a Supernatural quiz at Quizilla I did some time ago.
R is for Restaurant City on Facebook :D My guilty pleasure!
S is for my university page again (lots of S as well)
T is for the Trenitalia homepage.
U is for Livejournal again (Us in the page title).
V is for Volagratis, a database for researches on low cost flights all over the world - I've got used to this by planning my Irish holidays last summer and now my two-day holiday in London for 20-23th February =)
W is for the Wordreference dictionary. Useful but also tricky.
X is for velvetb0x, where I take all my wonderful layouts from.
Y is for a Youtube vid about an Italian comedian (I watched it once, I don't know why it keeps appearing :O)
Z is for Download Zone, a forum where I take links for dlds and stuff.

G I'm tired :O

Day 04: Your favorite crossover based on comedy shows.

How I met your mother/The Big bang theory

This is kind of obvious since these are the only two sit-coms I watch, but anyway I'd be very curious to see some Barney/Penny or even Barney/Sheldon interactions :D And what if Ted fell from Penny and thus became love rival of Leonard? Who'd be the winner between them? (I'm taking bets!)
