Heya! Time has come for a general review of the tv shows I'm watching! So many @_@ I must love tv shows so much to be so bad with myself this way :DDDD
Let's start!
Idk. This second season of Gossip Girl makes me mumble-mumble, you know. Serena’s not the good old Serena I used to love: one day she’s fighting with Blair, the next day they hug each other and say they would do anything for their best friend. Can friendship be so devasting? :/ Anyway, I’m happy for Dan and Nate. They’d do a perfect couple of friends together :) Actually, I’d like Nate, Dan and Chuck to all be friends at the same time, but little Chuck seems to have some little problems of…confrontation with other human beings. Poor Chuck. He needs some rehab. He needs…a girlfriend! Someone who takes care of him! Does anyone know if Blair’s totally out of chance of succeeding in this?
Uh, have you heard Serena speaking about The Tudors??? Ah! I knew that she was watching it…but she made a huge mistake. What was that ‘Henry Cavill’ quote? Absolutely not! I would quote Jonathan Rhys Meyers if I had to quote The Tudors. Serena, honey, it looks like you need a pair of glasses on your shiny face :)
The confrontation between T-Bag and Gretchen rocked! ROFL I was curious to see which of the two of them would surrender to the other, and T-Bag it was! :D
And yay for the engeneer who screwed Mahone, stopped running and became aggressive!! :D
I loved it when Michael asked Sara for the autograph of Carrot Top *Haha* So sweet! And who the hell is this guy anyway?
What else? Don Self’s plan was very intelligent but I hope he won’t be corrupted by the General too, because I really love this character but I’ve realized he’s a little scared of dying. I think he would do anything not to die or have his wife dead :/
And then the funny ‘gay’ card-holder thing :DDDDDD The Chinese guy kept kidding Sucre and he was all like ‘I’ll break his neck’ :DDD
I guess Michael would have been soooo jealous of Sucre if he was there, wouldn’t he,
bm_shipper? ;)
The only thing I didn’t like…How could Mahone possibly follow Michael and T-Bag inside the dark hole? Without getting noticed ‘til the end, I mean :| FTW. Soon getting episode number 8. I guess Michael and Don won’t be happy to know that the phone device got lost :P
I’m love Torchwood! The latest episodes I watched were kind of awesome! 1x06 had me totally shocked by the cannibals, and the whole ‘we-eat-people-to-be-happy’ thing O_O And now 1x07! Tosh is a very sweet girl..I was so sad for her when the others were not so nice...And Mary, she’s so beautiful :O I’m straight but hey, I can recognize a beautiful girl when I see one ;)
Even better than the one before!
I loved Suzie’s discourse about death and non-life after death…and the fact that she had planned everything before dying…a great way to take back the character for just one episode…and the final song is gorgeous!
This third season is made of win. I liked the first one (Chris ç_ç), I loved the second (Ten *_* And Rose ç_ç), but the third is…GWAH. I like Martha and she’s the greatest companion the Doctor could ever find after Rose so far.
There was Shakespeare, and then the New New New New etc. Earth :D The episode with the Face of Boe…And the solar crashing, guh, that was one of my favs! *_*
About this specific episode..I didn’t like the Doctor to become human in 3x08. That made me sad…he’s so hugely fascinating that he can’t be boxed into a human body ç__ç
But 3x09 is totally my favourite DW episode so far. I found myself crying in the end, at the soldiers’ funeral ceremony. And the corageous act of John Smith, the man who was not to be, and instead conquered our hearts so much that we didn’t want to let him go.
There are some blimey quotes from it.
A lot of mirror lines from good old Ninth Doctor (thanks, Wiki :D) and what I could define true poetry:
“He’s like fire, and ice, and rage.
He’s like a night, and a storm in the heart of a sun.
He’s ancient and forever.
He burns at the centre of time,
And he can see the turns of the universe.
And he’s wonderful.”
“He never raised his voice. That was the worst thing - the fury of the Time Lord - and then we discovered why. Why this Doctor, who had fought with gods and demons, why he had run away from us and hidden... He was being kind.
He wrapped my father in unbreakable chains forged in the heart of a dwarf star. He tricked my mother into the event horizon of a collapsing galaxy to be imprisoned there, forever. He still visits my sister, once a year, every year. I wonder if one day he might forgive her, but there she is. Can you see? He trapped her inside a mirror. Every mirror. If ever you look at your reflection and see something move behind you just for a second, that's her. That's always her. As for me, I was suspended in time and the Doctor put me to work standing over the fields of England, as their protector. We wanted to live forever. So the Doctor made sure we did.”
GWAH.
If the Doctor himself could watch this episode, he’d say it’s just blimey. OMFG. I couldn’t understand what was wrong with Sally Sparrow ‘til the end, and the Doctor was right anyway, the weeping angels’ tecnique of survival is never unfailing…when they don’t look at each other. Sally and Lawrence were just too sweet, I’m happy they ended up together… Awwww ♥! The final scene. With all those statues made by humans with their open eyes.
This third season’s so awesome I’m becoming addicted to it, I can’t stop watching it.
“Time is more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly.... timey-wimey.... stuff.”
*dies*
Awwww my dear guys from Grey’s! I truly missed them! George is something amazing, he was so funny and I love the relationship between Lexie and him…even though I don’t know if I prefer Mark/Lexie or George/Lexie :D What do you say?
And Alex/Izzie. Aww. Each of them is starving for love from the other. You can see it in their eyes. When will Alex send to hell his pride and go get Izzie into his arms? T_T Hurry up, guys!
Plus I’ve heard so many spoilers about incoming episodes…not telling them here, but stay tuned, because so much fun is yet to come *-*
