Yeah, so, I bought the box-set for Supernatural 1-5 and am now in the middle of my very own SPN-marathon. (You know, in stead of studying for exams, or getting myself ready for Christmas.)
I haven't seen all the episodes of the series before, but fanfiction-writers here on LJ's got me hooked on the show, so I figured I kind of owed it to them (and myself (and the amazing actors)) to actually go out, buy the DVDs and get to watching. So far I'm not regretting it.
AWESOMENESS!!!
S01E01:
Okay, so first of all, what's up with the episode-title??? Not the most inspired of titles I've heard. Still, the episode in and of itself wasn't bad. Seeing as I've cheated somewhat with watching more recent episodes of the show, I can't complain too much on the less than perfect computer-manipulations they've used (when their mom and Jessica burned on the ceiling). The ghost was awesome. And creepy.
Anyway, Sam was awesome and all "I don't wanna help and I don't really care, but really deep, deep inside of me I do. So, oh, chucks! I guess I'll come along anyway..." And of course some dead chick won't be able to get Sam to betray Jessica... it is Sam we're talking about here. ^_^
And Dean... Dean, Dean, Dean... Quit checking out your brother's girlfriend. You can totally do better than her. I'm joking. I loved the comment where he protested that Jessica should get dressed. x_x; So typical Dean.

I have one thing I just have to express after seeing this episode. Sam. What the Hell??? You don't ever shoot your brother. It doesn't matter if you've been whammied. You don't ever point a gun at your brother and then pull the trigger! Shit man! No wonder Dean's so messed up. You have to wonder what kind of shit he's lived through between Sam and his father. And Dean, what the Hell? You don't ever give a gun to your brother if he's been whammied. You just don't. Doesn't matter if it's loaded or not. It makes you seem suicidal. Not cool man. Not cool.
Other than that scene, I loved this episode. It was so creepy and awesome that I had to turn on the light in my livingroom when I was watching the episode. (It was fairly late at night, so I'm excused.)
Seriously though, after having watched the newer episodes of the show, I've always been reserved when it comes to Sam. Some episodes I love his character, but in other episodes I loathe it. I just can't seem to make up my mind on him.

So, I obviously haven't commented on all the episodes I've seen yet, and the comments I've made are far from over, but it's late, so I think I'll come back to this later on.
