the past few days have been great. lots of congratulatory hugs at work from regulars who knew i was applying to school; lots of advice and support; two days of much-needed caroline love (complete with a manhan visit, dinner at sitar, long early afternoon walk through trails in northampton, lunch at local burger, café visits, etc.); an announcement of a new elvis costello album/tour of original, traditional country music (one of his strongest points); etc.
tonight we're going to megan and jason's, and we plan on baking something sweet and fun in celebration. i am pumped. and my grandma's coming home from florida tomorrow and taking us to dinner. yay. things are looking up, finally.
