Man, it's summer and I'm still procrastinating. (Ie: should I write a sonnet or read my Bio summer reading...hard choice...)
Two things that have been immensely fun over the summer: horsebackriding and volunteering at West Hills Hospital. Mostly I file, but sometimes I run errands, or distribute stuff, or bring a patient something or other. (Two people asked if I was a nurse...that amused me. ^_^) Random amusing tidbit: the people at the pharmacy, and the people at the lab, which you'd expect to be relatively similar in personality, are polar opposites. The people at the pharmacy are boring and bland, while the people at the lab are funny, boisterous, and occasionally throw soft and cushy things at each other. I, however, work in neither, but occasionally drop and/or pick stuff up there.
Summer is a beautiful thing. Too bad we have to have winter to distinguish it.
