Friending notice
Just to put it out there...
I don't mind if you friend me. Most of my writing is public, with a bit restricted to friends only.
When a new person friends me, I always go check out their profile and journal. If you are a really skilled writer, or writing about stuff that interests me, I'll likely friend you back. Or, if I can figure out who you are in real or SCA life, then I usually will friend you too.
So sending me a brief message or comment, telling about yourself, will increase the probability I'll friend you back.
You don't have to know me in real/SCA life to become my friend, just share some common interests.
