to go further into my last post. i was at work and this regular comes in and asks for a token to use the bathroom. so i give it to him. he later comes out and trips over a chair near the door. i'm the only one who sees him go down. he dosnt get back up. i rush over there and see somethign is wrong so i shout to Greg (the store manager) to call an ambulanse. so Nicole (a co-worker who was int he back) picks up the ohone and calls 911 while i rool convulsing kid on his side so he can breathe better.
911 does not pick up.
so she tries again.
there was a point where Nicole, Greg and myself were all talking to different medical departments to get an ambulance there. it takes them three numuites ro respond (we are literally across the street from brigham and Womens hospital) they do their thing, police officer talks to me cause i'm the only one who saw/notaced anything 'cause Greg was too busy at the register with customers.
they ID the kid after going through his bag. also, when he fell a needle fell out of his pocket. aparently he ODed on Heroin.
and if i hadnt seen anything or responded like i did he would have died.
And that is my story.
