I started my xmas shopping!
So Thanksgiving was nice, my mom and dad had my aunt and cousin here from ohio, my grandpa, my other grandma, and chris. We had a really fun time, everyone was happy, and everyone in my family really likes Chris, even my anti-social cousin Adam!! It makes me so happy, Chris is such a gentleman.
Yesterday, "Black Friday", I got up and went shopping around 9 with my mom and her mother in law, lol i guess i should have just said my grandma.,.. but yeah, we started out at jo ann fabrics where i got a couple things to make those fleece blankets with the fringe all around the edges for my aunts, and i got a bigger one to make chris for his bed, and we got my grandpa a collage frame. then we went to kohls, i got chris some socks, and my Dad these awesome Rolling Stones lounge pants... they're black with those red tounges all over, and my mom got quite a few things , some sweaters and turtle necks for her sisters, and some stuff for my dad, and some games. After that we went to Denny's for lunch, then headed over to Marshall Fields. My main intent was to find Ralph Lauren Polo stuff for Chris on sale... but because the polo t shirts were $60 ON SALE... I was like fuck it, because me and Chris have found nice, almost brand new polo shirts and stuff at thrift stores before! So my mom was like, oh well we can just go there and look... lol. I'll just have to think of something else for him.
When we first got there though we walked right by the MAC make-up counter and this lady that works there who always helps me and my mom grabbed me and gave me a hug and was all like "I'm so happy so see you! Mom, you've got a wonderful daughter!".. haha how embarrasing! but she is such a sweet lady! She also hinted to my mom that half the stuff they had on sale and their promotions and stuff would be sold out by the end of the day, and i should "Go get lost for a little bit" so my mom could get the stuff she needed to for me, so i did. So i know one of my xmas presents will be from MAC this year!! :-D i went up stairs and got some ice cream with fruit-YUMMMMM with my grandma. it reminded me of when Stephani would always get the big cup full and make jasmin go on marshall field ice cream runs for us! lol. So We didn't end up getting much at MArshall Fields, we just got this little jump suit thing for my cousin's baby.
After that we called it a day, came home to find my grandma's heat wasn't working... had to call a repair man, find out they couldn't get the part they needed for the furnace until monday... so my dad was over there until 3am trying to fix it himself... at least my grandma lives across the street!
I think tonight i'm going out with my aunt and uncle-the "cool" ones lol.. and my parents. We'll probably talk about my other aunt, and how mad it makes us that every time she comes to visit from Ohio, which is like 3 times a year(which is BS cuz it only takes her like 3 hours to get here) she doesn't even spend time with her dad-my grandpa- and just spends her time "fixing something" or whatever... like this time she changed the dog's dog food... but she won't even be here to monitor the dog to see how it reacts to the food... she leaves it up to my mom and aunt.. it's hard to explain, but she does shit like this all the time. Sorry, maybe a little Too much info..
