So, I had my first intro to sculpture class this morning, and received the first assignment. It is a project having to do with scale, where we have to take a glass with flowers and expand it to twice our height. In my case, that 136", or 11 feet tall. It shall be awsome, and we have full use of the woodshop.
I also found out that as part of the sculpture class, I'll be learning to weld. :D
More good news: I just nailed two job interviews for tutoring positions in local schools. As they're off campus, and considered a little more difficult than normal work study jobs, the pay will be slightly better. Hours work around my schedule, and I should make enough in a week to cover my monthly bills and gas down to CT (or round trip to MA).
I also found the mead in the local liquor store, as well as an apple wine that looks very yummy. it has cinnamon and other spices in it.
Aight, off to buy books, and it shouldn't break the bank. Yet another reason I love Bennington, and I've only had one class so far.
