Jim & Bones, Bones & Jim...

I think I figured out why Jim/Bones is necessary in my head.

It isn't because Jim needed Bones to help him heal. I think there are a few people who could have done that.

I can't think of anyone but Jim who could fix Bones, though. Not completely.

And the idea of an even mildly broken Bones makes me wibble.
