I hadn't planned on getting the new set, but after seeing some screen shots from them, I've changed my mind. Not sure when I'll finally bite the bullet, but it will happen. :-)

Yep, the side-by-side screenshot comparisons are what finally broke down my resolve. I also made things a bit more difficult for myself than I had to, figuring out the whole "region-free blu-ray player" thing, too. But wow, is it ever worth it. I don't have a terribly keen eye for resolution (many times I can't really see the difference between a regular DVD and blu-ray DVD of the same recent film), but now I look at my old Pros DVDs, and it's like day and night. Absolutely breathtaking. Now I'm dying for the second series to be released.
