Story: Mistress of Fire, Servant of Fire and weapon cores

Jul 03, 2005 17:05

Following the tradition of mortals naming Mazoku despite misconceptions, the Mistress of Fire is a good example of false names. Despite being called Fire, she actually rules all the elements besides 'soul.' The term 'rules' is also used lightly. She's more of a caretaker, one who makes sures things are going smoothly. Much like Death and his role. However, her anger was well known so she was associate far more with fire than the other elements.

She had a Servant during the Great War. He disappeared during the Wraith Wars, but is is rumored he is still alive.

Since Mazoku are less tied to the physical plane... they actually make good energy sources. Usually they just draw upon themselves, but during the Great War in particular, many were converted into somewhat sentient weaponcores. This is what happened to the Servant of Fire. And as the Great War shifted into the Wraith Wars and the cleansing, his mistress disappeared and he may have been left sleeping as a weapon still.
