In Shanghai. My friend who lives there does event photography on the side, so the two of us teamed up and shot a couple of club events. The first was a fashion show for Guess? jeans, the 2nd was just a random night at a club where all the models and movie stars seem to hang out.

Actually, the punishment for dealing in China is execution, so not so much....but here are the picts:

China - Shanghai and Hangzhou

Got back into Japan last night, safe and sound, although quite tired. Today I'm back at school, but I don't have classes, so I'm pretty much just going to sort my Shanghai picts and go tan at the pool @ lunchtime.

Trip was amazing, I will try to post more commentary as I post pictures.

We took a 90km drive out of Udaipur to visit a huge Jain temple up in the mountains. Just the drive itself was awesome, but the temple was very impressive. Unlike Hindu temples, Jain temples are fairly plain on the outside. They save their intricate carvings for inside the temples.

Udaipur was the nicest place we went to in India. It was smaller, with a local population of only about 500,000, and somewhat more well off. Because of the lakes, it has a bountiful supply of water, and people here were much more laid back, and much less nasty, than the rest of India ( Read more... )
