an actual matte painting

So, it's been a while, as I've been trying to work on my painting skills via concept sketching and such...but in Okinawa last weekend I picked up some reference photos that I figured would do the trick, so i went back and converted by Jungle Valley sketching into an actual matte painting. I would appreciate any and all comments :)
