Instead, I'm in my office, debugging a wierd SQL error that popped up yesterday afternoon. My team and I worked on it all afternoon and didn't quite get it fixed. We were supposed to leave @ noon, and I left @ 3:15...my two guys stuck around until almost 5:00...what a way to start your long weekend huh?
I probably don't *have* to fix it before Tuesday, but I think everyone's life will be a lot easier if I do get to the bottom of the problem...and so, into the valley of death rode the 600.
I almost got locked out of the building, it seems that the security guard normally leaves @ 1:00, and I was out grabbing lunch at that point...so all my stuff was still in my office, but I couldn't get to any of it. Fortunately, I found a roving mall cop, and he called the guy to let me back in. Sometimes, it's good to work in the mall ;)
At lunch, I picked up some speakers for my computer, so I can listen to CDs...and since I had no CDs to listen to with me, I bought Snow Patrol "Final Straw" and Muse "Absolution" - plus a Jesus Jones single on the clearance rack for $.99!
Even as we speak, I'm executing the code again, to see if I plugged the hole. I think I did, but we'll see.
