Whoa
At long last, I finished reading all of the entries for the AU contest. *collapses* Some of them were truly spectacular, but man, has this been a grueling few days trying to get through all of them and not being able to do much of anything else... I'm dying to get back to working on my novel, it feels like much too long. I'm proud of my story and have really enjoyed some of the others, but I don't think I'll be doing much fanfiction, let alone one of these contests, in a long time.
Congratulations to all of my friends (and anyone else who reads this?!) who submitted an entry. It was not an easy vote. I was also really impressed that some "unknowns" (at least to me, since I've been out of the loop a bit) had some of the best entries. Also congratulations to anyone who read through all of them! Now we wait for the vote, ah haha...
Happy belated Fourth of July to anyone who celebrates it! To my British friends, I bashfully avert my eyes... ahahahahaha just kidding. No hard feelings or anything--
