This test was devised by researchers who study the maleness and femaleness of brains (BBC web site). These researchers think that not only your ability to visualize spatial relationships and empathize with your friends, but also your innate tendency to types of illnesses is related to whether you have a male or female brain, which is thought to be the result of testosterone and oestrogen levels during late stage pregnancy rather than of your genetic sex.
I'm not sure how much I would put in on the test structure (especially for this purpose, by which I mean that I'm sure these test measure somthing, I'm just not sure that it's brain gender), but it's definitely worth 20 minutes of amusement. I won't say how I scored, only that I wasn't surprised.
