(004): location: in front of the mansion: Let's stay together, counting bodies like sheep.

There were entirely new reasons to hate Valentine's Day now, and Bruce was far from grateful for them.

People had been dropping like flies for the last few days, from natural causes to random and senseless murders. And today hadn't been any exception. Bruce had been lucky enough to be able to catch one man in the middle of trying to beat another to death and stop him, only to have the victim up and die of a heart attack shortly afterward.

After tying up the man's attacker, placing an anonymous call to El Dorado Police, and slipping out as quickly and as quietly as he could... Bruce was starting to think El Dorado was trying to catch up with the real world, for whatever reason this was happening. It was also, frighteningly enough, starting to feel like home at last.

All that was missing was the suit.

Bruce slipped out from the alleyway, checking both ways to make sure he hadn't been seen. Like riding a bike, really. He sighed under his breath, rubbing the bridge of his nose between two fingers as he made his way back towards the mansion. This was ridiculous, and what was more, he couldn't tell if there was anything behind it.

If he was forced to admit it, Bruce might even say that deep down, he was hoping for something to take on. But if there was, it hadn't presented itself yet. So there was really nowhere to go.

Just the same, there was a place to start.

Digging out his cellphone from his pocket, Bruce sighed as he stopped in front of the mansion, sending out a mass text.
