"Insane is one way of putting it." the Doctor spoke up from behind her. He was leaning against the wall, arms folded over his chest.

Kate half turned and surveyed the man briefly before she gave him a faint smile. "I'm guessing this happens a lot then? I was on my way to work and well.." She gestured around and then shook her head. "..I'm Kate and you are?"

A shrug. "No idea. Most of us just turned up earlier. A few days ago, rather. Showed up in a big mass of people. Then leaks like you have been trickling in. People were on their way anywhere when they showed up here. Wouldn't be surprised if someone showed up mid shower."

Then he nodded. "The Doctor."

"...Wonderful.." Kate sighed a moment later before binking at his introduction. "..The Doctor..is that all?"

[Abby has been checking her phone once a day to see the 'Contacts' list grow whenever someone new pops up. It helps her learn their names. Today's check makes her jaw drop, though. She quickly highlights the name and presses the 'call' button]
