The choice had been particularly difficult to come to. Exposing himself, his real identity, it wasn't something he had planned on doing anytime soon. It had felt like standing out on the edge of a cliff, just waiting for someone to push. The days after the press conference he had hoped he'd at least get some sort of reassurance that he'd made the right choice, that there was something good that would come of it all.

Instead, the only good he was seeing was a line of action figures, that had his likeness, waiting for his approval. It hadn't exactly been the grand gesture he had hoped to make for the rest of the heroes out there fighting the only fight they knew how to do. It sat in his gut like a rock, heavy and weighing him down. He'd tried to keep up the thought that it was a good thing to not be hiding behind the shroud of secrecy. If anything, he could be proud that he'd managed to keep it a secret from the city for so long, but he knew that the price of his secret had been too high, for too long.

The interview was supposed to help clear the air, but it didn't exactly start off open. The questions weren't even that pressing, but the tone - the insinuations that was behind them, it left very little to the viewer to come to their own decisions. For a moment he had even wondered if they were right to think that way, but it was in the smallest gesture that he had received that newer outlook. Clark had shown up to his interview and that show of faith, it was enough for Ollie to remember exactly why he did what he did. He pushed back, just as hard at the interviewer and when it was all said and done, he felt relief. It was the sort of relief that came from making the right choice and being sure that it wasn't something he had done for selfish reasons.

He left the temporary set-up at LuthorCorp, heading back toward his own office, intent on finding Clark. He was sure he'd gotten escorted from the set, shortly before the interview had ended. There was a lot of commotion and he hadn't been able to keep an eye on him, being as quick as Clark was - it wasn't exactly difficult to imagine.

He'd kept his attention elsewhere, as he walked, distracted by countless things that were running through his head. When he came to the door, he didn't even notice that it wasn't the door to his office, instead he just opened it.

Of course, there was a problem with opening it... there was someone else in it.

"Oh... I..." Oliver let his brow furrow in confusion, his hand still pressed to the doorknob as he leaned back to look down the hallway, which now was obviously not right. "I think I got turned around."
