01 Lobby
"I'll see you in Hell..."
Dean's final words to Bela still echoed in her mind as she contemplated her fate. This was it; her time was up and she was going to Hell. Nothing would save her now. Bela could hear the howling outside the window as she stared blankly ahead, frozen to the spot. The howling grew louder until the hellhounds were in the hotel room; snarling, their claws scraping along the raggedy carpet. Bela didn't dare turn around, too afraid to look. Not that it would matter because she couldn't see them.
A searing burst of pain rushed throughout Bela as one of them clawed her leg, ripping through her as if she were tissue paper, and she cried out, dropping to the floor. Her other leg soon suffered the same injuries as she tried to scramble away, even though she knew it was pointless. Another bit her stomach, leaving Bela in absolute agony as her blood began to gush out, spilling onto the floor below. They continued to claw and rip at her until she was a pulp; all Bela could do was scream until she was hoarse, wishing that it would just end. That's when everything went black and she could no longer feel or hear anything, just emptiness and silence.
Moments later, Bela found herself in what seemed to be a lobby of a hotel. Confused, she blinked a couple of times to make sure she wasn't dreaming. Surely this couldn't be Hell? Bela took a minute to check herself over: there were no visible wounds and her clothes were intact. She looked around the area for any signs of life, taking a few cautious steps as she tried to figure out where the heck she was. That's when she saw a blonde woman behind a receptionist desk who seemed to be smiling over at her. Interesting.
"Well, this wasn't the welcoming committee I was expecting," Bela said, her tone dripping with sarcasm. It was a coping mechanism, hiding her fear behind the snark. She didn't trust the receptionist and wasn't planning to. For all Bela knew, she could be part of a ploy to throw her off.
"Could use a little more fire and brimstone though, yeah?"
