[Location: Hospital] I was an ordinary man with ordinary desire
Joanna stirred and the first thing she noticed was that she hurt. It wasn't a sharp, piercing pain, more like a 'god I haven't moved in ages' dull throb. When she opened her eyes, she knew, instantly, that she was in a hospital. Question was: how did she get in the hospital? What was the last thing she remembered? She was at that club, Rush. She'd met Rose Tyler, who was funny and nice and they talked for well over and hour. She'd seen the vampire, Eric Northman. There had been some general snarking and maybe some light flirting.
Okay, so with her remembering of full names, she wasn't suffering amnesia. Well, for the most part. After Rose and Eric there was...a few more drinks. A little dancing and then--

The roof collapsed. And then everything had gone black. Joanna lifted her hand to her head, feeling her scalp carefully. On the right side, towards the back, there was a very sore spot. So she'd been knocked out.
"Welcome back to the land of the living, Miss Frankel," the nurse said with a smile.
"How long was I out?" Joanna asked, her voice husky from lack of use.
"Well over two weeks, Miss Frankel," the nurse replied as she scribbled some things down. "So you remember what happened?"
"Yes. Is there any lasting damage?"
"Not that we can find, Miss Frankel. We've already informed your roommate of your coming out," The nurse said with a bright smile and a nod. "If you need anything, don't be afraid to give a shout."
And with that, the nurse turned on her heels, striding from the room, leaving Joanna alone.
