Martha was still trying to learn her way around the place. It wasn't that navigating the hospital was all that hard, it was just remembering where it was when coming from a completely different direction. She knew that eventually she will get to know the place like the back of her hand, but for right now, she was just trying to make it to radiology without getting too lost.

... She wasn't doing too well there.

Deciding to bite the bullet, she reached out for the arm of the nearest person she saw who looked like they knew where they were going. "Excuse me," she began. "Can you tell me which way to ... "

When she actually got a look at his face, however, it brightened into a smile when she realized it was someone she recognized. "Oh! It's you!" Then a beat, and an apologetic look. "Who's name I didn't get, sorry."

He looked over at her and gave her a friendly smile. "Peter. Peter Petrelli," he offered his hand, "there wasn't a lot of time to pass on names."

"There wasn't, really, was there?" She shook his hand warmly before nodding. "Martha Jones. Nice to meet you."

Peter nodded and placed his hands in the pockets of his jeans. "You're new to El Dorado, aren't you, Martha?"

Rose was really really not amused. She was starting to think the hospital had a secret objective: study the effects of boredom and being forced to keep still on her, a very non-sedentary person.

She'd make a break for it though she figured to really make it out she'd have to hijack a wheelchair.

It could work.

Peter stopped outside the room when he recognized Rose. He leaned into the room slightly, giving a knock at the door before entering all the way. He probably looked like a mess, but at least she was doing better. Peter stopped next to her bed, hands in her pockets and gave her a smile.

"Rose, right?" he asked. "Looks like you're doing better."

"Yea?" Hearing her name she turned to look at the new visitor, curiosity and a bit of confusion on her face. He seemed familiar. That face. But why? Her brow furrowed as she concentrated ... oh. Oh.

"Peter!" The one who found her and carried her out. "Sort of yea." She glanced at her leg, though being held captive by the hospital staff was still worse.

"Hey!"

He gently ruffled her hair. She reminded him of Claire in that way that he had the feeling that both needed to be looked after constantly. Not that he had any problem with that. Friends were always a plus, which was something he had to re-learn fairly recently.

"You've had some visitors, though, that has to make the whole leg thing easier."

Cassie fought like mad. She did not want to stay in the hospital. She didn't do hospitals. The only reason she'd gone in the first place was because Dr. Magnus had insisted that she get patched up. She'd been cut in half a dozen places and was bruised to high heaven. Not to mention the number that wooden beam had done to her back in her rescue attempt.

So she was stuck in the hospital. Her injuries had been bandaged, but they wanted to keep her overnight for observation. To which Cassie had immediately replied, "Observe this" and flipped them off.

But Cassie knew the face that Dr. Magnus would give her if she came back to the mansion already. So she stayed. But wasn't happy about it. She wandered the halls, doing her best to stay out of that damn bed. She wore a hospital gown, the back of her black boyshorts easily seen. Not like she gave a fuck, though.

He caught her wandering the halls and paused, tilting his head just slightly. Alright so she wasn't here for a while given she was up and moving, but she probably shouldn't have been up and moving. Peter quickly caught up to her, moving in front of her so he could see her face.

Wow, she looked like hell. She must have been inside when the building went down.

"You doing okay?"

Cassie stopped short when the guy stepped in front of her, out of nowhere. Damn nurses. She frowned, leaning back a little. "Fine. Aside from my being held against my will," Cassie replied, rolling her eyes.

She looked him over. Average, emo hair, but didn't look the emo type. Course, she looked the goth/slut type but she wasn't that. Whatever.

"Well, they probably want to make sure there's not some kind of infection or something." Peter said. He looked around before gesturing behind him at one of the vending machines. "Want something?"

It was supposed to indicate he had no intentions of telling her to get back to bed or calling a doctor in.

She was a fast healer, even with a crossbeam taking her to the ground, she had managed to get out of there with just a few bruises and a nice gash on her arm. It'd be a good story if she got to keep the marks when she went home.

Right now, she was just watching the flow of the place, seeing who was really hurt, who was helping out. It had been a good group of people, they helped each other out, which reminded her a lot of how B' would run things. Of course, B' had been in there. She was sure of it, but for some reason she hadn't spotted her running around bossing people around.

Rubbing at her shoulder, she moved up off the chair she'd been seated on, milling through the people, trying not to be in the way, but still looking for a pack of ice. She healed fast, but it still hurt to heal.

Peter looked up from the clipboard that one of the nurse stations handed him. He had been on his way to the lounge after talking to Martha for those few hours of sleep he promised her. He picked Faith out in the crowd easily enough. So, she had gotten involved in the whole disaster too.

"Need something, Faith?"

Shrugging, she glanced over to the voice that knew her name. Despite her text message efforts, that was a short list, but she still smirked when she saw Peter.

"I was looking for some ice," she replied, "I think I just pulled something. It's not a big deal, but I'm not a heat-first kind of girl. I prefer to just numb it to nothing."

He handed the clipboard back to the nurse and motioned for Faith to follow him. Yeah, technically she wasn't allowed in the lounge, but making a makeshift icepack was going to be easier than trying to wrestle one out of the O.R. or from someone else who they thought needed it more.
