Rose was running as fast as she could. Just another typical day working for Torchwood. Up ahead at the end of the hallway she saw her ticket to (temporary) freedom from her latest megalomaniac alien pursuer. The Doctor was having a rather rough day as it was as well. He had monkeyed up a charger for the sonic screwdriver and was left using traditional means to find information about the city. He had talked to anyone that was willing to talk (and some that weren't). All in all it turned out as a real bust.

Rose had to admit, this was definitely one of the most impressive looking buildings she'd ever been randomly transported to. Whoever ran everything didn't overlook the fine details.

She slipped the golden mobile into her pocket - her own mobile still in her jacket pocket for some unknown reason - along with the room key. Unfortunately with doing that and staring at her surroundings she wasn't watching what was right in front of her.

So of course she ran right smack into someone. "Oh! Sorry!" She looked at the person she bumped into and her mouth fell open in complete shock.

"Oi, watch it-"

He spun at as the woman turned to face him. Of course he recognized her right away. Rose Tyler! Shop girl from England. He let out a laugh and brought her into a tight hug. Rose was there, meaning the TARDIS had to be near by. And possibly Jack.

"Rose!"

One second Rose is staring at the biggest impossibility ever and the next she's got a great up-close view of his leather coat as her breath is squeezed out of her. It's been three years since she's seen that face. She managed to hug him back just as tightly, potential rips in time be damned.

"Doctor ..." She had no idea what to say.
