It was weird, Jessica at one moment had been closing up Merlotte's and the next...well there she was. Standing in the...lobby? Moving across the threshold, he caught the scent before he actually saw her. As the door swung shut behind him, Eric's head snapped up.
"... No." Yes.
It was Jessica, sitting there and looking like... Jessica. With a uniform for that restaurant Sookie was working at.

"Eric! Where the heck are we?" She asked as she moved towards him, confused look on her face.

"This is El Dorado." That never got less irritating to say. "You have been brought here by gods. For some strange reason." If they were supposed to deserve what they got, if this was supposed to be some kind of gift, then Eric had to wonder what Jessica was doing there.

Looking at the small space between them, Eric reached out, placed a hand on Jessica's shoulder, and pushed her back a few steps. "Stay there. And do not hug me ever again." Since she hadn't seemed to get the point earlier.

Otherwise, given her past track record, they would both be dealing with the entire city attempting to put stakes through their hearts because Jessica just had to bite some random innocent.
Pam was never this much trouble.

Swallowing a sudden lump in her throat she headed towards the elevators to find her room. She didn't want to bug Eric anymore. He seemed angry that she had even showed up there. Well, it wasn't like it was her fault or anything.

Then he noticed the look. And the swallow. And she kept walking. Eric grimaced, and shot to the elevators, standing next to her at the door. He hit the button. "What is your room number?" Did she have to cry?
