Things were going exceptionally well in the direction of the El Dorado Sanctuary. Those that she asked for the help of had agreed. Now all she was waiting on was the news from Bruce on how things were going with his company. Helen wasn't going to rush anything, of course. She knew business better than that ( Read more... )

Libraries usually had a musical section, and Autumn was craving something new to sing. Library, he went. Of course, as he usually did, he got carried away and saw some cool covers, which lead to him wandering into the fiction section, and then the nonfiction section. Currently, he was sitting down, staring with horror-filled wide eyes at an open book about sharks and their killing power.

What was funny was that in his hand, he had a text ready to send to Dr. Magnus, because he had felt the need to tell someone about his past, and she seemed to have her head screwed on straight. (Not that people didn't, but... yeah, he felt safer with an actual doctor.)

After a brief moment of staring at the page, he made a disgusted, sort of shocked face before standing and shutting the book. "Yeah, let's say no to looking at that again."

Autumn let out a little yelp and covered his mouth quickly to keep himself from being too loud; library, after all. "Oh--sorry. Yeah, no, skeletons and muscles... I mean, I'm good with human ones, but it's kinda freaky with animal ones." He let his hands fall to his side, clicking his cellphone off before looking up at the woman.

"What're you lookin' up?"

She laughed slightly before looking down at the book in her hands. "Some light reading on the subject of known Gods that humanity has been known to follow over the ages. For a colleague, of course."
