This is easily from three + years ago.
Jesus Christ it's been a long ass time since I've posted anything on here. Like, the last time was before I got Bumper. Ok so that was last year....I'm assuming before the new ALTs got here. Let's get into a year review I guess, shall we?
Uh, I moved...maybe we covered that since thats the only way I could have gotten cats. So I got Bumper, the Foxy. Bumper from Osaka Kitten Nursery and Foxy from the Japan Cat Network. At first, I wanted to throw Bumper out the damn window because he meowed constantly and wouldn't let me sleep at all. It got to the point where I had to have Rachel come over for the night and keep and eye on him in shifts so I could get any sleep at all.
The Foxy was a little shit, kinda still is. She peed on me and my blankets multiple times. She still has this problem...but less me and more the pet beds around the house. She's just really really picky about her litterbox being super clean.
Then, when Joe was here for the winter, I went out to buy catfood and saw a little bangel kitten at the pet store. Normally, I'm against buying pets but I couldn't leave her there. <3 Thus I had Lyra. She's secretly a beaver, eats the cat tower all the time.
Next was Q. Found him outside and super skinny and really dirty coming from from Rinku. He climbed into the cat carried and from that point on I had a vampire cat.
The last one came as a surprise to me, not that Q didn't, I was going to work and heard a kitten crying. The only thing I could think, other than I need to save the poor kitty, was...."Fuck, Im gunna have five cats....." So I found her, stuck in a tree surrounded by thick bushes making it near impossible to get to the tree. Thankfully there was some sort of sign I could step on and a part of previously cut tree so I could get to her. I found her near Christmas so her name is Holly. She's super sweet and looks a bit like a tanuki.
Other than cats, this year has had some pretty eventful things. I have forgotten how to write proper English and thats why this probably seems weird to any native English speaking trying to read it. Um...I met four new ALTs; Corrine, Hannah, Matt, and Bobby. Corrine was a teacher before this so it's pretty interesting to see her work and listen to her ideas. Pretty level headed and kind. Hannah is young and very opinionated, almost like she has to prove that she's smart? I dunno, she gets on my nerves. Matt is pretty smart but brings many dumb ideas to the table, like things we could never possibly do but, he kinda evens out the tense atmosphere caused by.......Bobby. Well, ok Hannah and Bobby when they're in the same room. Bobby is also very opinionated and has this weird sense of justice. He started off thinking he could change the whole Japanese educational system and slowly realized that he can't and it pisses him off. I think the first time I noticed that something was a little...off with Bobby is when we first had a meeting in the Rengakan. Matt was trying to get to know everyone so he asked Bobby is he has any siblings. Bobby kinda flew off the handle saying, "Why would you even ask that? That's not a question that people typically just have pop into their heads." Bespite the rest of us going, yeah, actually, it kinda is? Bobby took it as very offensive fighting words from Matt. Every since then we've been walking around on eggshells around him.
Other things this year have included boys. They have come and gone. Joe was in my life for about two years and some change. He didn't want to change until I left him and now he says I'm all he wants. I believe it, and he is doing stuff that he should have years ago but, the fact that he didn't listen to the advice I gave when I gave it and it took me leaving for him to move his ass is very very offputting.
There have been other boys that I've gone on dates with...Ta-kun, Keiichi, Masa, and Fumiya. Ta-kun and Keiichi didn't last long at all. Ta-kun was always busy so I decided to end that. Keiichi was just rude so that also ended quickly. I went with Masa to USJ, it was fun but absolutely zero sparks, not my type at all but I made a friend? So, that's cool. Fumiya is the one that has my interest. However, there is one major problem with him...he has a gf which he can't break up with because I think he said she's his boss or something. And that's a pretty big deal in Japan. Other than that he's pretty perfect as far as I can tell right now. BUT, I've only known him like 4 months? I have another date tomorrow with a different guy, Junki. He works at a hospital but speaks no English. lol I guess I'll see how it goes.
What else happened this year?
Last summer I went to Joe's and went tubbing again, it downpoured on us in the river. I was freezing, definitely not as fun as the first time. I also went on a road trip with Andie!
