Weekend Bullet Points

Feb 21, 2005 15:37

Too busy today to post at length. Here's some pointless data to prove that I haven't died or anything.

The Past Couple of Days

1. Been watching episodes of Firefly. I like it, with a few reservations. Mainly, I just think these characters should be, like, a lot more rugged and weatherbeaten than they look.

2. Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine is still the sweet lady H of old videogames.

3. Stayed up too late playing the DIY name-guessing game "salad bowl" with numerous people. That game is so fun with the right group of people.

4. Stayed up even later with vorrant and chebutykin jawboning about random stuff.

5. Listened to various mix CDs that have come my way recently. I've had an odd floodlet of people giving me mix CDs.

6. Hatle and Pig went over quite well at Improv-A-Go-Go, and many came to support us. Standing room only crowd, even. Being sandwiched between a couple of the best improv troupes in town didn't hurt either. Want to discuss the event with Jill more, with an eye toward future performances, and to do more improv in general.

7. Stayed up too late at Green Mill, eating tempura shrimp and drinking big-ass mug of brown ale.

Tonight and Tomorrow

1. Will stay up too late at the MISFITs trivia meeting, finalizing questions and wordings. Probably going to be a bit of arguing as well.

2. Will be zombie tomorrow, due to three days in a row of staying up too late.

video and computer games, improv, gaming
