JUMP AHEAD A FEW MONTHS
And here I am again! Yes at long long LONG last, MY computer is finally up and running. Now, mind you, I got it repaired several weeks ago...but I was having serious problems with the whole getting time online in order to change the DSL out here to this computer and then call and get the network set up on the old computer, etc etc. It meant moving the house phone. It was a mess.
Ashley's parrot, Scooter, resolved the issue for me last night. He chewed through the phone cord (in the middle of a workshop no less). Voila! Issue resolved. No phone. No computer. No CHOICE.
Today I am happily 'on-line' and the old house computer once more belongs to the children and hubby. YAY!
No more tv droning endlessly in the background! No more people telling me to turn off my 'writing' music so they can listen to something loud and annoying :) MY little room. Cluttered. Desperate for a good clearing out. ALL MINE. YAY!
No more excuses (okay I might have to ask for a bit of leniency when we actually move this summer) I CAN finish this book. I want to. I need to. And now, with just a wee bit more solitude and quiet... I WILL.
