I have survived a week here in the mission field! Ever since I got here to the city of Boise North Stake miracles have happened. The mission work has doubled. On Friday night we got a call from the Bishop of the ward saying a Lady and her family wants to be a part of our church so we rode 5 miles down the hill into Garden City (Slumville of Boise-Trailer park area) And when we walked in the spirit was so strong. We bore our testimony and the family cried, and said the reason they want to be a part of our church because we do what we say we'll do and we aree all about families. I felt the spirit so strong. They agreed to have us come the next day. So we came back and taught the lesson about the restoration and committed them to be baptized and they said yes! We also gave the mother a blessing because she is getting foot surgery. We are also working on this cool lady of a family on getting baptized. My trainer has been here for 4.5 months and was in the mtc with my cousin Sam Woods, he knows what mission work is and ever since I came out of the MTC I wanted to be the best missionary I could possibly be. My trainer is Elder Mccurdy from Queen Creek, AZ. He Has moved around the country but he is from Kansas City, MO. His family is moving into this mission, which is funny. He is the best companion, our companionship is so unified. I love my area, I want to stay here forever . I cover the top of the hill and then the bottom of Garden City. Today for P-day we went and played Ultamite Frisbee and frisbee golf with a couple of the other missionaries. It was fun!! I have a second mom here on my mission she is the nicest lady her name is Sister Schiefelbine, she has helped feed us, drive us places. She is such a nice lady. I know I will deffinetly visit her and her family after my mission! My companion is the coolest person ever! I am so lucky to have a companion like him. Our goal for batisms here to have 5 and we already have a bunch of people we are working on for this transfer. I want to stay here in this area forever! I miss you all so much! I am so glad to be a part of this mission. My mission Presidents Know this mission and they are so inspired. I see my mission president serving in the corum in the future. He loves mission and the work. I love my area I hope to be here longer than Christmas! Well I got to go!

Much love, Mike
