so i m back again:)
the festival was great first of all...it was a 3 night-2 day festival...
friday morning we went istanbul and at tolga's we had a little rest...then we went downtown and ate some stuff...then at 7 p.m we got our camping things and took a bus to the festival area...we were there by 9 p.m...while we were waiting a tv team showed up and made an interview with me! they asked me lots of questions:) anyways we were in by 9.30 p.m and then we set up our tents...by 10 p.m they started showing kill bill vol. 1 and 2 consequently...then arkin allen finished the nite by 4.00 a.m...
the next morning was the first performance day...we woke up at 8 because inside the tent it is very humid and hot...you cant stay too long...anyways...we had a little breakfast and found somewhere "shadowy" and slept more:) at 1 p.m the performances began...first there were 3 turkish rock bands then there was a reggae band called sly & robbie taxigang...they were fun actually...then a turkish rocker who is like 60 years old showed up...he was amazing...he came back for encore...then there was ASH!! one of the reasons i was at that festival was ash...they had a great performance...sang almost everything but jesus says...tim wheeler was at his cutest form as well as charlotte was at her most beautiful..anyways..i ve took lots of pixies of them...then a turkish band called m.f.ö showed up...they re like the r.e.m of turkey...and after they stepped off the stage one of the headliners--iggy and the stooges--were on the stage...oh god he s such a freak! it was good to see him live...perfect performer...and then one of my favorites--spiritualized--were on stage...they had an amazing show with lights and stuff but the band was a bit cold towards the crowd...they didnt say a word but "see you again bye"...they played great songs...i wished more but you know...when they say thats it thats actually it...
sunday...the last day of the festival..a turkish band called rebel moves were on stage...then a turkish woman rocker came up...she had a terrible performance...i ve seen her live many times before but i guess this was the worst of all...anyways then there was wax poetic...very interesting band actually i dont know if any of you heard of them but i think you should listen to them at least once...then there was a british band called 3 colours red...they were ok but i was waiting for the next performance so it seemed like 3 colours red will never come off the stage!...then one of my favorite bands--dEUS--was on stage at last!! it was so exciting to see them perform just a few meters from me...and the good news is they said they ll be back next year...and i got their setlist!! maybe i ll get it signed when they come again..:) after dEUS, fun lovin' criminals were on stage and they made us have a great time..they re wonderful musicians:) the crowd went mad when they were on stage...after fun lovin' criminals there was the rasmus from finland...they were the other headliner band..so people were waiting for them madly...they were ok on stage..i dont like them a lot 'cause it sounds like they play the same songs with different lyrics...anyways...the rasmus came off the stage and weird but fun 50 cent came on the stage...he "talked" for half an hour and then there occured a mad storm...50 cent cut off his performance and all the people went to the camping area to get packed and leave...so the last performance by the orb could not be done...
so that was a short information about rock n coke:))
i ll be going to kaş for a 2 day holiday next weekend...the last time i ll be swimming this year so i better have great time there...i miss alper on the other hand...
