Steeling ourselves
Well, we've finally got 'round to making a start on the recording for Jack Steel and the Starblade, thanks to the joy of discovering that the majority of our "voice talent" was available on Easter Monday.
In the space of about four hours we managed to get 20 out of 35 scenes in the can, including some of the long, exposition-heavy bits so probably about two thirds of the total we need - which to be honest was far better than I'd hoped! Of course, we now need to sort out the levels, stitch in the re-takes and generally tease out the best quality we can before getting onto the fun bit of adding the effects and actually pod-casting the damn thing! Still, a brief outtake to keep you entertained...
