An introduction, of sorts
Well, now that I've come all the way here, it would be silly to not write something up wouldn't it? I assure anyone who stumbles onto this that this will likely be dull reading. I don't live a particularly exciting life, I'm afraid. I am, however, doing something I feel is worthwhile so I do not regret that in the least.
In the meantime, this will be a place to write down my thoughts and the activities of the day, and an aid to keeping my head in order.
And so, today was more of the same-old, same-old. After posting to the community I've been puttering around inside the house getting caught up on some tidying I'd let go for more than I should. I've only recently returned from Deningrad and overseeing the reconstruction of the Crystal Palace there, so I had a bit of unpacking still to do before having to clean up the mess I made when I left.
It's been overcast and threatening rain all day, so I haven't bothered changing into my work clothes to go out and garden any as the instant I started it'd likely drop all at once. I am hopeful it will get it over with sometime tonight so that I can do some work outside tomorrow; I've been neglecting my babies horribly.
As of this moment I am having an interesting conversation with one Captain Jack Harkness; the differing viewpoints in this group promise to be entertaining. Though I am concerned as to the stability of the girl looking for her brother. I hope he is a calming influence on her.
