Research has been going slowly. Training alone is dull, but when it is the only option, tolerable at best. I actually enjoy Kisa's visits much more than I would admit to her.
Perhaps I should stock up on good tea for her. It seems like something she would appreciate.
The decay of the Sharingan has slowed to almost a halt, likely due to my disuse of the Tsukiyomi and Mangenkyou. I indulged too much. Now I suffer the consequences.
I have three good candidates. One in Grass, one in Stone, and the last in Konoha. The latter will likely have more pertinent knowledge - let alone the possibility of actual experience. Unfortunately, I'm also easily recognizable if spotted in Konoha. I will need to look into them each further.
While visiting the compound, I was surprised with the findings. Five of the cats recognized me, but all seem to be suffering from arthritis. Strays do well in the compound - does she feed them? I see no signs of it. I shall have to make another visit.
The shrine's findings were very useful. Now I can go through the records with the multitude of time I have. Hopefully I can set my plan into motion within the year.
