I went back to work today - first time since my leg got broke. I'm real jazzed. It's good to be back in the swing of things. I was about ready to go stark raving mad.
It's always weird getting around non-Tales when I've been immersed in the Tale community for awhile. Everybody's only been this one thing, this one time. It makes them seem so fragile.
I wonder how different I'd be if I wasn't a Tale. I started remembering when I was a little bitty tyke; wonder how it would be if I'd just "woken up." Guess it's the kind of thing you can't ever know.
