New Year's was fun. I took my fiddle down to the subway and played until I couldn't move my fingers anymore. It was really kind of cool, watching how these modern be-suited people responded to 17th century gypsy music. There are few things more fun than turning people's expectations on their heads. Plus, the juxposition juxtasition combination of New Years' and old, forgotten songs appealed to me.
I also made a few hundred bucks. So that was nice too.
