I have taken up knitting. Gloria is extremely supportive.

(Despite which this is both easier and more enjoyable than I would have guessed. If it can keep some of the latter as I move past the former, we may just be in business here!)

I have also taken up knitting this year. It's somehow addictive. I've managed to make socks.

Socks! I seriously just started a couple days ago so all I've got is half of my obligatory terrible scarf, so I'm duly impressed with that. Do you have any insight to share as a master knitter?

Youtube is your friend. I have no idea what I'm doing half the time, but youtube has yet to fail me.

Haha, I took up knitting again recently after not doing it for years, and my cat also keeps trying to help.

Really, when you get used to it, having your working yarn threaded under a cat's paws and through its mouth is a perfectly legitimate setup.
