So the dress was a success! Although it was very windy and my skirt was blowing all over the place.

I love pagoda sleeves! Notice how tight it is around the shoulders/sleeves? Yeah...that hurt.
There are so many things about this dress that I would change if I could/felt so inclined. First, i would not make a 15+ yard dress out of heavy linen drapery fabric, even if I got the 30 yard bolt for $20. Second, I would evenly distribute the fullness on the tiers so that the back is not skimpy. Also, I would make the sholders wider. But all in all, it was lots of fun wearing this again. The weather was just perfect today except for the wind, not too hot and not too cold, and mostly cloudy. It was a busy day at the square too, lots of visitors and lots of volunteers.
