Announcement of Sorts
Hey jenthompson and other Dallas people, the Golden d'Ore $1clearance room sale starts Saturday (well, tomorrow for those on their email list). I found silk, linen and wool blends in there last time, all for $1 a yard!
I have to get up at 6:30 tomorrow, and it is already past midnight. Ooops! But, most of Belle's blue bodice is finished. I just hope it fits now....the armhole ended up sorta funky and big. Stupid simplicity pattern, I had to take a good inch and a half off the top of the shoulder.
So tomorrow night I will finish the 2nd half of the bodice and put in about 30 dritz eyelets. Then skirt, apron, and ruffle at hem and my sewing for Beauty and the Beast is pretty much done. There are a few odds and ends I need to repair or alter, but nothing major.
I complain about this quite a bit I guess, but this whole theater thing is really quite fun. Its awesome getting to see my stuff up on stage, and the people are all really nice.
