(no subject)
So, 3 out of 4 finished corselets fit, which is pretty good, considering I was working from measurements that someone else took. I would have more of them done by now but I just got more fabric. Ah, its not too bad of a job though. I'm making three underbust waist cincher type corsets for the "silly girls"(the three in the movie who are all "Oh, Gaston!" all the time) too. They're out of a red, blue and green plaid taffeta, and I'm binding one with red, one with green, and one with blue. They will lace up the front but zip up the back so they don't have to be unlaced for costume changes. I almost finished one of these this morning. its quite nice working with non metallic, non stretch fabric for a change!
And now I have to go get my student ID at the community college. Classes start in one week....
