Two napkin ring underbust corselet whatever you want to call them thingies. Would like to take this opportunity to say that i HATE that stretchy metallic fabric. Ugh.
So, the basic idea is that these will look like metal napkin rings and the girls, or rather their blouses and skirts, will be the napkins. Its going to be cute but its a LOT of work. It would be easy if the fabric was different 9I didn't choose it). The machine thread kept breaking so I took off the plate and poked around in the bobbin area. There was lots of crud in there, and I pulled out two good size chunks of compacted lint! That was most of the problem, but the machine still doesn't like the fabric.
The giant piping is kind of fun though. It looks like there is some sort of giant silver snake coiled up on the sewing room floor ^_^
