A little bit of an actual update
So I've been doing a little sewing. Last week, while I had a couple hours to kill, I made Christmas PJ pants. I'm also making a pimped out version of a Mad Hatter costume for a friend, and helping two others with sewing projects of their own. At night, we take over the common lounge area and cut stuff on the floor and sew at the computer desk and annoy the crap out of the boys who sit there and watch sports (not that there are many of those on this campus.). I'm going to make some stuff for people for Christmas, too.
I'm ready to go home, now. As of like, today. Not that I don't absolutely LOVE it here, or anything. Its just that things are kind of slow here right now and you can tell that everyone is a little bit tired of being here. Home is so close and yet so far away. I'll be home next Sunday afternoon.
I just saw my school's performance of the Nutcracker. It was very impressive! And as I've seen way more performances of the Nutcracker than I would like, and I've costumed it, and I've played the music, and I'm pretty much tired of it, that is saying something.
And now, bed time at 11. Earliest I've gone to bed in probably weeks.
