Ok, before I say anything else!

1 - I've read very, very few X-Men comic books. Certainly never read Days of Future Past. (XMEN COMICS ARE THE MOST TWISTED LABYRINTH DISASTER AREA OF STORYTELLING HOLY MOLY.)

First Class had contradicted some stuff in the Original Trilogy and X-Men Origins: Wolverine, so it was a soft reboot already.

I agree about creative casting, but it is a double edged sword in that, partially, when I see something like that happen, I hear Female/POC characters aren't interesting enough on their own, we have to make our old iconic white male characters into them. Having said that, when fandom is up in arms over changing the race of someone like Johnny Storm or the Wests, I'm always interested in how it plays out.

There's also another problem. I know you love Tom Hardy, but casting him as Bane is one of the problems. They are still casting white actors as non-white characters. They BETTER not get a white guy to play Apocalypse because I'd argue the five most popular non-white villains in comics are Apocalypse, Ra's Al Ghul, Bane, Black Manta, and maybe Killer Croc and how many of those have already been played by white guys?

They'll use Hugh Jackman as much as they have him for, but I'm sure the next movie will have a lot of McAvoy, Fassbender, and Lawrence, and they've already set up a lot with Quicksilver.
