So, I finally posted all of my 30_hath ficlets to AO3 yesterday while LJ was down. (DON'T READ THEM. THEY ARE NOT GOOD. Well, fine, I like the Founder fics, but the rest are mildly horrifying to re-read

There's always something new and exciting when I check TW now!
Hahaha, that's fantastic! I spend most of my time clicking refresh on various pages madly trying to MAKE things happen. :D
It's funny, I was just sort of quietly hanging out online mostly poking comic book fandoms when Torchwood just happened for me. And now it's the most involved I've ever been in a fandom! But I keep drifting around old ones recently.
Old fic is terrible. But I can't bring myself to delete it, because it's part of my past, you know? And I've never written any recent stuff for LotR, so it's the only sign that I was once a rabid crazed fan. :D
My roommate agrees that I should write the marauder fic! I'll let you know if it happens (starting exams soon, so probably after that!) I don't know why there aren't gen Prank fics! I've been avoiding the utter huge mess that is ff.net, but I've googled and looked at rec lists and everything! I think a lot of writers might avoid it because it's a very touchy subject, but it's also soooo angsty! And fic writers love angst!
I'll try to browse some LotR stuff when I have time. I mean, my username is the same on ff.net so you can look me up there, but be warned that I chose favorites when I was much younger. *hides*
Legolas was my first favorite character! If you look really, really, really hard there is a self-insert Mary Sue with me and him that I wrote in high school that I can't take down because I NO LONGER HAVE THE PASSWORD to that particular account. (It's not on my main ff.net account or it would be SO GONE.) It was supposed to be badfic that I wrote with some friends, but the whole thing is sooooo embarrassing now.
I love, love, love friendship stories, and growing up stories, and Elladan and Elrohir were basically my favorite characters. Anything about Elrond's family was always fascinating!
Oh, I'm a really big HP fan! Um, I'm a canon shipper, so no Harry/Draco for me and I LOVE LOVE LOVE stuff with Ron and Hermione because I'm secretly a sap. Actually, anything with the Weasley family, anything with friendship, anything well-written! (And I admit that I'll even read parings I don't like if the story is good and I like the other stuff going on.) It doesn't have to be amazingly well-written, but nothing so OOC that I just have to stop. Woooo HP!
