So, whenever I leave the internet, it explodes with Torchwood news. I've just decided to accept it.

Want to know the secret for why I was excited for Torchwood: The New World‽ BECAUSE EVERY TIME I THOUGHT ABOUT IT, I THOUGHT ABOUT THIS:

WHICH WAS BEST SORT OF HILARITY.
Listen, you can even picture Gwen as Pocahontas, looking happy, Jack as Nakoma (the raccoon) looking EXCITED, Rhys as Percy (the dog) looking resigned and Andy can be Flit (the hummingbird) because he used to flit on and off the screen. I AM SO CLEVER, GUYS. As a spent an inordinate amount of time on this when I needed to take a break from reading on my screen, I wasn't going to bother actually putting their faces on. TOO MUCH FOR ME. I did replace the Disney logo with ones for BBC and STARZ. It looked pretty bad...
So basically, Torchwood: Miracle Day?...eh. New name. Whatevs.

I have been browsing Yuletide recs on people's journals these past few weeks, and you know what?
There is some really interesting Disney stuff out there.
There is also some really O.o Disney stuff that has the potential to ruin my childhood, but I might be mildly addicted to Mulan fanfiction, and some of the Little Mermaid stuff is just beautiful.
