It really was a holy act, and I'm grateful and honored for it. It's good Witch's work, but, like most Witch's work, that don't make it easy! Still, people close to me have lost lives much closer to them recently, and I'm grateful for opportunities to practice with less devastation, and also for the work that we've been doing that has helped me so much in being open to deep grieving even for such a 'small' life.
I don't think I meant you needed to narrow it down to one thing! And, if I may be so bold as to make a suggestion, those things sound a lot like Sticky One work. I like some recommendations I've heard--if you have a pet name for yourself, it may very well be for your Sticky One, and pendulum work can help you communicate. Consciously dialoging with the Fetch seems helpful to me, and she's usually very clear about her answers. I won't divulge the name I use, but it's not fancy: it's along the lines of "dude", or "fella", as in "Hey big fella." I (fetch-self) respond really well to it, and sometimes responses feel like they're coming from the petulant, under-attended three-year old inside. But fun, and exercise, and possibly even resource flow all seem pretty Fetchy to me.
