Snow (no 'pocalypse?)

A definite win.

The best thing about the day, though, was that it started snowing shortly before we went out. It was just borderline cold enough for the snow to stick for a few hours (it seems to be all gone now) and make things look pretty. Somehow, perhaps because it was on a weekend so people were more willing to say "driving in this will suck so maybe I should stay at home", there didn't seem to be the OMG SNOWPOCALYPSE panic of last year's snow. Instead people were just enjoying it. While we took cash out on the way to Seattle Center, a group of people passed by singing songs from The Sound Of Music. And of course I took some photos. Incidentally, I got a nice compact camera for my birthday, and I'm really liking having one that fits in a pocket so I can take it around everywhere easily.

Now, it's time to head to Fremont for Brouwer's for their Bigwood wood-aged beer fest. We were going to go to the Winter Beer Festival up the road from it, but then heard about this one. Both sounded equally interesting, so the one with no cover charge at a place we've been meaning to try out wins.
